A little information prior to the official launch of "The Beautiful Brown Rainbow" homemade soy candles. It is very important to trim your wicks! It is quite normal for wicks to mushroom. Don't fret! It is recommended that you trim your wick before each burn, while the soy wax is cooled and solid, to 1/4 inch in order to maintain a beautiful candle. You can use a sharp pair of scissors or a wick trimmer. Having a lovely burn will allow you to have an optimal performing candle.
